Founded in 1980 by Ravi and Chandra Patel, SREE Hotels has evolved from humble beginnings into an award winning hospitality ownership, development, and management group. For over 40 years, our entrepreneurial spirit, do it yourself attitude, and unwavering drive to succeed has helped our family owned hotel management company expand into new markets, build a stellar hospitality management team, and partner with major franchise brands. The Early Days
1980's
The SREE Hotels story begins with the acquisition of a Florence, SC roadside motel in 1980. Guided by a strong set of core values and an entrepreneurial dream, Ravi and Chandra decided to embark upon a long and prosperous journey in the hospitality industry. With the help of our family and a great deal of sweat equity, Ravi and Chandra renovated and re-positioned the property to an EconoLodge franchised hotel, increasing the property's value, guest satisfaction ratings, and occupancy rates. With such sweeping success, the Patels sowed the seeds for decades of profitable hotel ownership, development, and management service.
SREE Grows Up
1990's
In the years following, we grew our hotel portfolio, expanded our team, and ventured into new markets throughout the Southeast. After several more successful acquisition and re-positioning projects, SREE Hotels embarked upon our first ground up development with the construction of the Comfort Inn Florence. With the development of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Kannapolis and the Hampton Inn Charlotte/Monroe in the mid 1990’s, SREE Hotels began strong and lasting partnerships with Marriott and Hilton.
Four Decades of Success

Today, more than 40 years after the purchase and re-positioning of our first hotel, SREE owns and operates over 20 properties in North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio, franchised with partners like Marriott, Hilton, and Intercontinental Hotel Group.
